SOAKING MUSIC
WHAT IS SOAKING?
   Soaking is simply waiting on God. It is a time of personal resting in God's presence, where you allow the Holy Spirit to    direct your time.

   Soaking is where God meets with you and tells you about your live.

   It is a place where we encounter the Lord, and receive healing in our bodies, as well as our minds.

   It is where you learn to access the presence of the Lord Jesus one on one.

WHAT TO EXPECT WHILE SOAKING

1. You can expect God's presence

  2. You can expect to receive prophetic information

  • While soaking, the Holy Spirit will tell you what to expect in your life and the life of others

  • Soaking allows you to know what's coming so that your faith is built up

  3. Expect to Hear God's voice, audibly or in your heart

  4. Expect to see visions

  5. Expect to receive healing

  6. Expect the Lord Jesus to reveal Himself to you

HOW TO SOAK

1. Set aside at least 20-30mins of time.

  2. Play some music....whatever music you have that is not distracting is fine.   
     You may also use the music provided (click here)

  3. Pray a covering protecting prayer -
  • cover the session, and your thoughts in the blood of Jesus

  4. Invite Jesus into your soaking session

  5. while soaking, focus your thoughts on Jesus
  • recite scriptures to help maintain your focus

  6. Write down/draw what you hear/see

BENEFITS OF SOAKING

  1. Daily soaking prepares you for your daily tasks

  2. Soaking trains your imagination to focus on Jesus so that He can cleanse you
  • soaking consencrates your imaginations, thoughts and desires i.e. your thoughts begin to lean towards Jesus, and not your problems, pains, concerns, etc

  3. Physical and Spiritual healing


WHAT YOU MAY EXPERIENCE WHILE SOAKING

  Expect to experience the manifested Presence of God in one or more of the following ways*

  • You may feel heat or coolness
  • You may begin to shake, laugh, or weep uncontrollably
  • You may see or sense light
  • You may have an increase sense of peace
  • You may lay down or fall asleep

* God's presence may be revealed to you in a way different from the ones listed above. Remember, God is not be kept in a box, He chooses to reveal Himself as He sees fit.
